The 2024 Alton Towers Resort map is the world’s first fully 3D rendered theme park map.
Tasked with revamping the Resort Map with a completely fresh 3D style whilst enhancing navigation and pathfinding, I merged precise ordnance survey data with on-site shots to vividly portray each attraction.
My goal was to maintain the unique whimsy of the park whilst improving navigation and path clarity through the cleaner style.

The map offers fantastic flexibility, accommodating everything from diverse angles and close-ups suitable for on-site digital screens, to adjustments in lighting and weather to match any time of day or season.
